Contex Announces Windows 7 Support for Nextimage Software

WIDEsystem Drivers and JETimage Software also Compatible

Allerød, Denmark, November 5, 2009 ‐‐ Contex, the world‐leading developer of wide format scanning and imaging solutions, today announced a new update to Nextimage software – version 1.6.1 . This new update provides support for Microsoft Windows 7, in both 32 and 64 bit versions. Nextimage is Contex’s wide‐format scan and copy software. It enables scan‐to‐file, scan‐to‐email, copy, edit and print and it supports scanning and copying in color, grayscale and black/white.

Nextimage is also available with touch‐screen capability. Already included with Contex’s Multifunction Solutions, Nextimage TOUCH is also available separately to all existing customer with a compatible Contex scanner. The latest revision of Nextimage TOUCH also includes availability in Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Russian, as well as English.

Adding to an already comprehensive list of supported printers, the latest version of Nextimage and Nextimage TOUCH also includes support for the newest wide format printers, including the HP DesignJet T1200 and DesignJet T770. This makes the Contex MFP Solutions even more compatible with customers’ equipment and a smart choice when buying a large format copying solution. In addition, WIDEsystem scanner drivers have also been updated to support Windows 7. JETimage software does not require an update and is already compatible with Windows 7.
